Topic: Tyler's ailment - alternative research path

I have expressed the idea on the researching alternative solutions to Tyler's ailment and as I am not specialist I'd like to hear someone give a estimate how much effort and research time it would take to even estimate feasibility of the idea?

Re: Tyler's ailment - alternative research path

I've asked the method with which Khitasang and his team chose current approach to ailment and here is the explanation.

<Khitasang explains in complicated medical terms the process of choosing the approach.>

I know this was already public knowledge, but I wanted to bring it back to public attention as it is related to my current question to the public.

((There's a couple of posts expressing support to Relay's idea to at least look into the matter, but little more.))

Re: Tyler's ailment - alternative research path

Relay posts another link to public discussion with Healer about genetic engineering and its problems.

<Healer goes into an explanation using complex medical terminology. The main point, however, seems to be that it's too unpredictable and dangerous.>

((Thar, one of the test subjects, supports this idea.))
