Errr... I should probably mention there is a new post on the TAU message boards forum, or it's likely that no one will notice tongue.

Hello

I imagine a lot of people will consider me insane after this. However, the ones who have experienced this might understand.

I have had odd dreams, twice now. I think they may not be 'just dreams.' If they really are not, I would like to know what they are and how they come to be. I imagine I must not be the only one to have had dreams like this if they are really not just dreams. So, I am asking, anyone who has experienced similar dreams, please contact me. I am making a sort of database on this to see if there is anything to it or not.

I'll describe some of the elements I think are important, though not all of them have to be present in one dream:
- Realising you are dreaming at some point during the dream.
- Meeting people who you know used to exist in the dream, looking exactly like they do in TAU records, but who you are certain you have never seen before.
- Getting the impression that TAU is talking to you in the dream
- The possibility that what you dreamed happened for real (though not literally, it can be more abstract)
- The dream is unlike any dream you usually have, it feels alien, you do not think this is something your mind could make up.

As a postscript, it would be even better if people who have had these dreams, did not have them during periods of severe stress (I know stress is all too common here, but something truly not ordinary) or after traumatic events.

Ishi

That would be nice...

Also, Amanita Design is working on a real adventure game: http://machinarium.com/

They also made Samorost 1 and 2, but this project will be much bigger, longer and the gameplay more complex than in Samorost.

Any noteworthy news on Adellion? It still sounds like it could be one hell of a game, if it's ever finished. smile

News is: the new website is underway, though knowing their schedule, when they say soon, it probably means "will be up before winter starts."

Which means: completely re-done lore etc.
Also, the screenshots shown are outdated. All the screenshots currently available are very old and we have been told the game will no longer look like that. Presumably it will look better.

I think it will be finished, but not this year or even next year. Might go into open beta by the start of next year or so, though. At least if my estimate is any good. Does seem to be getting close now.
We can only hope it will make it and come out, but I have no doubt it's being worked hard on at the very least big_smile.

As well, they still seem to be looking for more development volunteers, in several areas, so if you have any skills and time to spare...

I'm against 1! tongue

I can do all the other options, no problem, only on Saturday (4) I can only play from 18:00 onwards (maybe 17:30). That's 18:00 my time, is that the same as CEST now?

Hey folks.

Yeah, I'm still alive. I'm really sorry for disappearing (er.. again.) The whole website thing kind of screwed me up. I wish it could've been different, but I'm not a well person and this is one of the main ways it shows. I know I've said it before but... you know... sorry.

Don't worry about it big_smile. There's at least one other person here prone to disappearing spells and it's a small miracle that I've only done it to the Seed community once so far.

Anyway... the reason I'm posting is that I've started playing LotRO again, and found that it's developed quite nicely since I first played it. I'm in a recently founded dwarven RP kinship called The Mountain Guard. Basically, it's a military organisation charged with finding and dealing with external threats to the dwarven kingdoms. We're still starting out and we have a lot of RP novices, but the will is there, and I think it might turn out to be a very nice kinship.

So, knowing that you're all excellent role-players, I'd like to extend an open invitation to anyone who feels like role-playing a dwarf in LotRO. I'm not expecting an onslaught of applications, but I wanted to let you know we're out here.

The URL for the kinship website is http://mountainguard.mmoguildsites.net/
My main character is called Hrain Flamebraid. At this point, I'm second in command.

Cheers. I miss you guys. I still kind of consider myself a Seed in exile. Might stick my head into the IRC channel and let you bite it off one of these days. wink

I'm not going near LotRO, because I think it would just infuriate me. If I couldn't stand the films, I doubt I can stand walking around in the MMO.

They all claim to have awesome and totally unique battle systems, but really there's never anything that feels like significant difference big_smile.

I was once interested in Age of Conan but dumped it sometime during its development for a reason that I forgot, but which must have been good if I completely stopped following every aspect of it.

Some hopes of it returning, completely privately hosted and developed by Cyan, but if, when, where and how are all still unknown, so I fully expect it will be at the very least years before we see URU again, if ever.

Perhaps something like Until URU will spring up again in the possible meantime, but I have never had any interest in that.

Since they say they won't need me to move the stuff or lay the floors, I'll only be packing, so I can play tomorrow for sure.

10:00 is fine.

I might or might not be able to play next Sunday (March 30th). It's still uncertain and I won't know until much closer to the date.

I will not be able to play on Sunday, April 6th, since I'll be on holiday then.

Panic!

Actually, yeah. I can't play before evening either. Or at least after 15:00.

Thanks smile.

As a birthday gift, my computer died! No, it seems the hard disk got damaged or wonky when my new graphics card was put in. So it had to go to the shop to be replaced (and most of my data saved. I don't even want to think about having to re-download all of Star Trek TOS :S). And if I have to replace it anyway might as well put in a bit of an upgrade. It's not back yet.
