[big]Some recipe with white chickpeas big_smile[/big]
(My adaptation of a recipe we learned from friends)

[death]Ingredients:[/death]

- 2 cans of white chickpeas (at a guess, that would be about 150 grams per can)
- spinach (about the same total amount as the peas; cut up or not, as you like)
- peeled tomatoes, cut into large chunks (less than the peas, I'd guess around 100 grams or so)
- 1 or 2 cloves of garlic, cut up into very small pieces
- if you like, some bacon

[death]Instructions:[/death]

In a spoonful of olive oil, or in the fat that the bacon will naturally release, fry the garlic and the bacon (in a wok or frying pan). Add the chickpeas, and a bit later, the spinach. This doesn't have to be in the frying pan for long, it all just needs to be heated up. Near the end (when it's almost hot enough), add the tomatoes and heat it all up a bit more until it's done.
If you're not adding any bacon, you might want to use some salt.

Alternatively:
-You could replace one can of chickpeas with a seedling mix of assorted beans and seeds (beans and seeds that have just begun sprouting), and because I'm not sure what to call this in English, exactly (seedling mix is a literal translation of what we call it in Dutch: kiemmix), here's a picture: http://www.sign2god.com/gezond/recept/s … enten.html
-You could also not fry the garlic and add it to the dish raw afterwards, after the rest is already cooked. This will give the dish a stronger garlic taste than when you fry the garlic first.

If it takes more than a week someone else will step in tongue

(I now make an attempt at editing this post to help Kryigerofe out)

I can play on Saturday, but I'd have to leave at 18:30. If we're even still playing by that time.

[big]Mushroom Sauce[/big]

Ingredients:

- 1 box of mushrooms (around 250 gr.)
- 1 onion
- 2 pieces of garlic
- 250 ml. bouillon (one big mug)
- 250 ml. whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt, pepper or other herbs to taste

Preparation:

Chop up the mushrooms, garlic and onion into very, very fine pieces (I just use the kitchen machine or something like a stick blender).
Put that into a frying pan with two tablespoons of olive oil, and fry it while stirring.
At the same time as frying the mushroom mixture, bring the bouillon to a boil in a different pan.

After frying the mushroom mixture for 5 minutes, add the bouillon and the whipping cream to it. Also add salt, pepper or any other herbs you like.
Boil this until you think it is thick enough; don’t forget to stir occasionally or it will burn.

((will add pictures when I make it again))

I won't be here next Sunday, since they planned the extended family New Year's brunch (BF's side) on that day.

Ok with me.

Okidoki

I''ll actually be free to play and without any distractions this Sunday, but it doesn't look like we'll be playing STSC...

I'd better arrange to be able to play the Witcher, then.

That would be rather hard, since they're still in Alpha.

And if we were, we'd probably not be allowed to say.

(and my RP thread is long dead, by the way big_smile)

But the forums still have a steady flow of news if you know where to look. It's not really in one recognisable thread or anything. Just keep track of what Teila's posting.

Happy Birthday smile

I don't think I have anything on the 16th. If something does come up I'll post it.

Happy Birthday!

Yeah, I meant Sunday 9th, in my previous post, of course, for my grandfather's birthday. I'll be absent the 8th too, but that's irrelevant.

As long as Christmas itself doesn't fall on a Sunday, then I have no problems there. Although I also have a lot of birthdays in December. My grandfather is celebrating it on Sunday, anyways, that would be December 8th. My brother's is on the 28th, and I don't know which day he'll pick to celebrate it on yet. I also don't know which day my niece's birthday will be on.

So I'll be absent at least on the 8th, and then maybe on some other days, unless it turns out that all the festivities manage to not take up any Sundays.

But here's another link. Don't be shy, thrown in links.

Whatever you linked there... it doesn't exist anymore.

I could play on Monday.

Well, if we're going to move it and Wednesday was a serious suggestion: I can probably do Wednesday. Not Tuesday though: that's when I meet the people I'm 90% likely going to be working for come January. (And yes, that's during the day. But I won't be fit for RP that evening tongue).

That wouldn't have made any difference at all big_smile.

Anyways, figured out where the setting was in ZoneAlarm, finally.

I've got Zonealarm installed, and now I can't connect to the server anymore. mIRC itself is an allowed programme in the ZoneAlarm settings, but it blocks the server (irc.mkc.fr) itself, and I don't know how to make it stop blocking it.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'd say it's a pretty definite 'uninterested' here.

I say Dustman, for guessing 2 questions right first, and actually seeing the film to get question 3 mostly right smile.

Well, we don't know if she was pregnant at the end, iirc.

Anyways, I still did not hear the key event that could have made it all very different (because it simply felt like a bad fluke, really one of those easily avoided things, unlike most of the other stuff in the film). However, since it's taken so long, let's consider the picture all guessed and over.
