Re: Image Game

Well, I would say Norah, becouse in my dictionary, skip is the vehicle that uses this, and hopper is quite the same, but not this one. Though maybe you use it to discribe exactly this one, but I thought of it as container as well (mainly becouse it's "konténer" in Hungarian too smile )
Edit: hopper might be the closest, but I think container is close enough smile

So, as the poster of the image, I say: GO Norah!
To Esme and Sandling: make some guesses on the original picture first wink
To Nuala: Yes, hon', it's exactly that tongue

Re: Image Game

Ok, I want the name of the film, the names of the two actors, and the final decision on the name of the baby, plus all the previous possibilities for its name.

Re: Image Game

Ok, I saw this recently, and liked it. It was missing some depth I think, but anyways, still worth a watch.

The film is Children of Men, the actors are Clive Owen and Julianne Moore.

Babies name, heck, I think, Froley was one possibility, Bazouka another (how I love imdb!) and final choice was Dylan.

Re: Image Game

Nice one Esme, you got me there wink Now post a new one!
Anyway, I saw it recently too cool

Esme was entirely correct!

Re: Image Game

Here we go then:

1. What is the name of the main character?

2. Who wrote the book that the screenplay was based on?

3. And in the epic that both film and book are loosely based on, who did the hero kill?

Re: Image Game

If Ive even seen this film, I have no idea which one it is becasue that picture is way too small.

Re: Image Game

Yeah, it _is_ small, it looks familiar, but I would love it if you could put it up in a bit bigger size.
Cheers

Re: Image Game

Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan alias Antonio Banderas

Michael Crichton [edit]my fault it seems to be John McTiernan in fact.

No Idea tongue I dont really understand the sentence.

Re: Image Game

She means she wants to know that, in the epic story (that the book is based on, as well as the film) who did the hero of that story kill?

Re: Image Game

Ok, let's try the wendol then.

287

Re: Image Game

That's in the film, you need to check the epic poem that these are loosely based on wink

But you are 2/3 correct - I was actually looking for Crichton for the novel. But it was a little confusing, so apologies.

Sorry about the image size, I couldn't get the link to imageshack to work :S

Re: Image Game

Ok, I guess it will be an easy one

What's her twin brother name?

What's the name of the serie?

What name is given to her and her family?

291

Re: Image Game

ok hint then: Pratchett would have certify she is a man but insted he worked with the autor of the serie.

Hint, second try:
- Terry Pratchett would swear that the girl on the picture is a man.
- Speaking of Pratchett, he worked with the autor of the serie.

Re: Image Game

I'm just slow, but one I actually know smile She is my favourite comic character ever and I once walked up to a complete stranger in Sydney to ask where he got his T-shirt on because it was this image in black and white.

Her name is Death and her twin brother is called Dream (:p Norah)
The name of the series is The Sandman.
The Endless is the name given to her family.

*sobs quietly because she left all the Sandman comics behind her with her last boyfriend*

For those that want to know, the series is by one of my favourite authors Neil Gaiman and you can read about Sandman here! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sandma … ern_Age%29

http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/5813/image1ly8.jpg

ok so:

1. What is the name of this fella?

2. What is the name of his best friend?

3. What food does he hate?

4. What country does the show come from?

Re: Image Game

I'm strangely worried that that might be Pingu, but I'm probably wrong.

Edit: Crap, it is.

1. Pingu, the (annoying bastard) penguin

2. Robby the seal

3. I used to watch the show as a kid, but I really can't remember this. Fish, maybe?

4. Switzerland

Here, since we're talking about one abomination, lets add another one to the batch http://www.david-hasselhoff.com/downloa … udance.mp3

Okay, so this is a crop of a book cover for a recently released RPG. I've mentioned it in passing in the logs if someone wanted to go and try scouring those. big_smile

1. Who is the author?
2. What is the publishing companies actual corporate name?
3. What are the dimensions of this book? (I was thinking of asking for the name of the edition, but this is more evil.)

And the usual incredibly obscure question.

4. What was the original forum name of the Fear the Boot host who recommended this game recently?
