ok, think more like why does it look like a smiling man in a baseball cap?
You're still focusing too much on what it actually looks like .
1 right
2 right
3 not so right (well, maybe very literally, but that's not what I wanted to hear, the most literal (it being a guy with a baseball cap on) is too obvious )
Ok I'm getting lazy so here's an easy one:

Name, occupation, series?
Sheila,
the Thief,
Dungeons & Dragons
I can play at both times, but Sunday has my preference, for several reasons, including we might get some more players, and Tagato won't have to leave early.
This is the programme that was used by Kryigerofe for the NPC's faces in the forum in their Ring topics.
If you like and you couldn't find a good pic for your char, you could try and make their face with this, and then post it.

I made a face for Ishi (actually 5), to try and approximate the picture I found, but I'll keep on using the picture because I like it better. The faces I made for her are saved to their public server, if you want to see them.
In WoW I used to be a pretty damn good lvl 60 dmg dealing fighter . Who also managed to RP pretty much all the time. When I do play WoW people regularly call me a power-leveller. I don't know if they overreact, but I did seem to level faster than almost everyone I knew in there. So that would show you can RP and be efficient . If you're going to be a good warrior IC, you'd better actually be a good warrior in game, eh? . We RPed, hunted mobs, and raided instances, and RPed . Some of those instances were pretty well-suited for some RP situations too.
I never went in for the endgame raid dungeons though, those really were a timesink that ate away RP.
It did kinda focus itself in the towns, but that's because the world is rather big, and towns, having stores, are simply your best bet for finding other RPers.
We regularly moved our business outside of the towns though, once we had some people together .
We had an all-elf guild, and met up in hard-to find (though often not all that hard to get to) and pretty spots in the woods. Or spots that looked like old temples. We'd have guild meetings with lots of secrecy, mystery, and ritual (though of course not too secret, because the most fun is if other can see you too, so the spots were hard to find, or in areas people don't usually frequent, but still so that people could stumble upon us. Spreading RP ).
Once we used that instance in the human lands, the one that has Van Cleef in it, for an RP story. We deftly ignored all the big floaty names on the NPCs. Someone had been kidnapped (there was this whole big story going on with a whole lot of people spanning several guilds participating and this was just a small part of it), and we went in to resque them. The one kidnapped was of course high level enough to be able to traverse that instance on her own, and get to the endboss, without dying, sitting in a corner there . I thought that was very interesting to do.
WoW isn't made for RP like Seed was or Adellion will be, but if you want it, you can always have RP. The backstory isn't actually bad for RP either, you can do a lot of interesting stuff with it, though admittedly a lot of people tended to do pretty boring stuff with it that they thought was really interesting, but which was really just what half the server was doing, and usually overly melodramatic too.
And of course you can RP without GM support, in WoW the GMs are only customer Service workers, so you'd be hard pressed to find any doing any kind of RP.
I took no screens. I usually don't, unless the sights are just very pretty. Basically I take screenshots like people buy postcards on holiday. Which is why my Seed screens were also a lot less extensive than a lot of people's.
Two of us from the Seeds That Grow Bevin, have wanted to try to open the strange doors in Eder Delin and Eder Tsogal for a while now, but we've come to the conclusion that we can't do it with just the two of us.
We're wondering now if maybe a few people would mind helping us out, say about 5 people at most?
We're both still keeping to surface times and dates, and we'd like to try this again at what would on the surface be next Thursday, at 20:00 hours our time. That would be around 12:00 hours Cavern Time, as far as I can tell.
If you are willing and able to come and help us out, at that time, please reply here or contact me on KI number 01292233.

There are a lot of links in one or two of the other threads on the URU forum here.
It's going very well content-wise, but the story is very very slow to get going.
Not many have moved there, but I'm signed up and paying for it, so if you want some company in the game, give me a yell on IRC.
Mostly I just log in for the new content, play through that, and then wait for more. If the story finally gets a move on I'll actually be in there for the RP too.
You can
1) wait until GT finally gets to Russia with URU.
2) forget about the game
3) use some proxy thingy that people in the forums talk about. It's said that you only need to cheat enough to be able to register for GT, and after that the game is easy to get to and requires nothing more.
Sunday is fine by me.
What is it with this time of year?!
I guess you'd better check what it is with 9 months earlier in the year .
Happy Birthday!
A late Happy Birthday
Good enough!
There's debate on what she is, it was never quite clear, so many answers would have been acceptable, and this one certainly is .
I created a char and did part of the tutorial. On Fire Opal, the RP server, that is.
Char looks creation is nothing special. A few different faces, a few different hair styles, choosing hair colour, no choice in body. Good enough for a free game, for me anyway.
I like the way they handle classes and skills.
The tutorial seems nice enough. It's informative, and the NPCs manage to stay IC well enough.
Once I finish the tutorial and have experienced some RP I'll post again.
Yeah, you can always look up the answer you didn't know by heart
Another hint (and frankly, the first one was more than enough to find out, if anyone put in a bit of effort )

I found this game (again, apparently I found it around this time last year as well, only back then decided not to play it for some reason. I discovered I had an account on the site already ).
In the reviews it is said to be pretty heavy on RP, at least on the RP server. So I thought I'd check it out.
By now I don't really care anymore if the subject (fantasy, SF, whatever) of the game is exactly to my liking or not, as long as they're strict on the RP .
Well, I could mention that last night I found what appears to be another community very much like ours:
played an RP-heavy MMO, the MMO died, the community set up something for itself and is now, I think, also a sort of all-round RP community.

Happy Birthday
