Do I get it right, with the none command it won't appear on the chat window, only in animation?

Exactly.

/bow will play the bow animation and display the standard text in chat
/bow none  will play the bow animation without showing any text
/bow makes a deep bow  will play the bow animation and display the custom text: "´charactername´ makes a deep bow"
