These words of the esteemed Ichiro Kawasa sum up the attitude and perspective of The Horizon. We fear that in the middle of the endless crises and struggle for survival, we may lose sight of the very reason for our being here. Too many simply focus on living through the day, without daring to look forward, fearing what they see. We in The Horizon refuse to lay our eyes on our feet: we look bravely into the future - the future we will build out of our dreams and faith in humanity.

That future will be no less than a blossoming human civilisation encompassing all of Da Vinci. Be it terraformation or adaptation of ourselves that's needed to achieve that goal, we  will achieve it, sooner or later. Time after time has the human race shown its capability of extraordinary accomplishments - this is simply the next step in the history of humankind!

We realize, of course, that the first step is to stabilize the Tower, and that is what we focus our efforst on right now. As the largest ring in the Tower we're involved in most of the major repair and construction projects, as well as some research and development as well.
