Re: Image Game
Okay then, maybe this is a bit too hard. Hint: The game evolved from another rpg named Deadlands, which is now used as a setting for this game and is known as Deadlands: Reloaded.

hmm... let's give it a try:
1, Shane Lacy Hensley
2, Pinnacle Entertainment Group or Great White Games (2003-2005)
3, 8.8 x 6.4 x 0.4 inches (Explorer's Edition, would have been more easy, that's for sure)
4, Tony ???
...Okay, disturbingly accurate Dustman! I actually only had 9" by 6.5" inches for the SW:XE, but you're probably right. All except number 4 though, I'm pretty sure that it was Luke since Tony hasn't been on the show since it's beginning.
Well, after the hint, it was just a matter of looking at the Wikipedia, and I didn't have any clue on the last one as there was many threads on Savage Worlds on the Fear the Boot forums.
Anyway, I like your new picture.
Oh, and I'll get on to find a new image soonish
Fiend! Yeah, Luke started the whole Savage Worlds bit in one of the actual episodes, not the forums.
And that's just a random sig I made for the Toribash forums, figured it was time I updated my picture, I'll be doing a new sig soon.
Maybe something you can actually know, for a change, without resorting to internet research?
Well it's not like you guys have been posting much that I would know either.
That's why it would be a change.:) (I think this game should be more about recognition and less about sporting your obscureness and google fu.)
Alright, for a change, the image will be a trivial one, and the questions somewhat harder, though I hope easy enough, here goes:
1. What race is he?
2. What kind of sword does he wield?
3. Who voiced him?
and two extra questions (optional):
a, What reference does he have in NWN2?
b, What reference does he have in Baldur's Gate 2?
Good Luck!
I think Kryigerofe meant doing something like that dumpster/hopper again, cause dammit I have no idea who this guy is, other than some dude from Planescape: Torment which I have never played.

Sandling, I think it's easy enough from there, but alright, I see what you mean.
Yep, here, Wikipedia reamed this one in the ass.
1. Githzerai (I actually suspected this just from owning Manual of the Planes)
2. He wields a karach, which changes shape.
3. Voiced by Mitch Pileggi.
a.) He's referenced as being one of three Githzerai heroes in NWN2.
b.) His "zerth" blade is available in Baldur's Gate 2.
And in short, the Planescape: Torment page on Wikipedia is way too detailed.
I'll get a new image up whenever I get back from classes today, something of the normal variety but at an odd angle so it takes some guessing.
Well, actually I did mean something like what Dustman posted. Planescape Torment is popular enough so that someone would be likely to recognize the character. I'd just rather have it so that having to give a hint is an exception, not a rule.
Too bad, you're getting some weird angle of a ruined shoebox now.
3. Voiced by Mitch Pileggi.
I honestly misread that as "Voiced by Miss Piggy" when I briefly scanned through this thread
Would make for a corny experiency Im sure...
Curiously, I was reminded of the existence of Miss Piggy as well when reading your quote...
Dustman, tell Sandling he got this right, so we can get another picture?
And nice of you to post this when I wasn't around, excellent planning
Oh, I already know I got it right.
I'm just really lazy.
Since a Planescape: Torment picture went over well, here's something to follow it up.
A larger picture will be posted tomorrow, just need to guess which game is going to be played.
Sorry for that edit
Edit the number deux: Courtesy of people thinking that a new game would still feature DOS style pixelation (*eyes Darkhawk*), this game IS out, has been out for a while, and what I mean is this is the start-up screen. Seriously, this thing is ancient, I was FIVE when it first came out.

Looks like Ultima series' ankh. And I think I've seen it in the Exult launcher, so... Ultima VII?
Can I just mention that that was disgustingly fast Wheri.
I've also never played an Ultima game until just recently, so I should've gone with something other than that Ankh apparently.
Well, I didn't play Ultima much too, to be honest. Only VIII and IX some years back and VII on Exult a half a year back or so.
Now give me some time to find a suitable question and picture.
I hope this one is not very obscure.
Quite simple:
1. How is this cutie called?
2. How does it defend itself?
3. What game is it from?
Last edited by Wheri (2007-09-17 22:03:40)
1. It's a Marmosian
2. By manipulating other creatures into defending them by emitting complex pheromone signals
3. Ascendancy.
Heh, that's too easy. Your turn.
(Trying to find the "just right" obscurity level)
