Uhm... wild guess:
1, Samantha Morton
2, Minority Report
1 is right, 2 is not. So you all can just take the right answer on 1 as the first hint.
And I'll add a question:
3) Describe the ending, and the key thing that made it end that way.
1. Samantha Morton
2. Code 46
3. Well, according to the plot summary in Wikipedia, the ending would appear to be: Maria finally finalizes her dream about meeting someone on the last subway stop (which is William). As for the key thing... being suspected for forging insurance covers (and thus meeting William)? Being caught for having sex with her clone-mother's son (and thus ending up where she is in the ending)?

Too bad it's another half-half answer .
2 is correct. 3, not entirely. So, 3 is just going to have to stand until someone gets it right and not just wiki-ing it .
If it's a proper movie, all events should lead to the ending...
Yes, but who said the wiki was accurate or coherent?
And there's one specific thing that needs to be said.
So go and watch it or wait and wait .
Well, I just saw the film, it was rather nice, though the quality was a bit crappy maybe becouse my laptop is having a cold or something nowadays, anyway, I was the first to know who it was, so it's quite ok, if I can finish it.
3, Not happy-end, after fleeing from the authorities, Maria and William suffer an accident with their car, after that, they erase the memory of the girl and everything else that happened from his head, and he goes back to his family while they put Maria "outside", but without erasing her memory. Also the song at the end is "Warning sign" from Coldplay, wich I also like. (One thing that is not clear is that we don't know if the girl had an abortus in the end or not.)
I hope that's enough though maybe somewhat spoils the fun to see it.
Well, we don't know if she was pregnant at the end, iirc.
Anyways, I still did not hear the key event that could have made it all very different (because it simply felt like a bad fluke, really one of those easily avoided things, unlike most of the other stuff in the film). However, since it's taken so long, let's consider the picture all guessed and over.
So, if neither of us got it right, who won?
I say Dustman, for guessing 2 questions right first, and actually seeing the film to get question 3 mostly right .
Okay, let's see, I hope this will be fun. The main idea is like Darkie's, but with another twist. I'm gonna post a part of an image, and another every day until I get no answers. Every 5 days, I'll ask another question, though I doubt we will get that far
So, here's the first:
The questions:
1. What is the title of the piece of art that uses the original of the image?
2. Who is the artist who created the image?
3. What is the name of the main character?
We are almost past 24 hours, so I'm gonna post the next part.
1. The picture is called 'The Marketplace' and is used in the 'Sword of Shannara' series.
2. Keith Parkinson.
3. Shea and Flick Ohmsford I'd say.
1. Wrong, at least the second part.
2. Right.
3. Wrong.
But nice try, you are really close now
Another day, another part:
The questions are still the same, and it shouldn't be too hard after Darkie's post.
And, becouse I think it may be a bit hard, I'll add another picture with a hint:
Actually, this may be the easiest one, as the artist is the same (as it was for all the images), but actually the title of the image is a main lead. Also, in the biography of the artist, there's only a few best selling writers, and together with the title, it should be easy, though if you think it's annoying, then say it

Alright, it seems noone read this book, so I guess it was too Google-ninja image, which you don't like. So here it is:
1. Memory of Earth (Homecoming series)
2. Keith Parkinson
3. Nafai
Anyway, I liked the series very much. I also uploaded the rest of the covers in the Gallery, if anyone's interested.
Also, here's a new picture, which you won't find on Google for sure, so you'll have to guess
The only question is:
What is it on the picture? (it is only a part of the whole)
Water/well pump I think. It's a bit fuzzy.
Right, it seems that was too easy, so, your turn. But there's an extra quesion, if you are in the mood. (this is just an extra, so Sandling, go ahead with a new pic)
Find the picture in the Gallery (not the Image Game one) which was taken on the same place as the one above!

Right, you see it's easy
Anyway, get us a new image, Sandling!
Okay, time to continue this.
Where is it from?
(no googling, use your imagination )
Wow, go me, totally forgot I was the one supposed to post an image... damn I'm busy nowadays.
Anyways... SkiFree? Probably not, I don't remember there being a wolf in that.
Wrong, but I'll give you another bit, to honour every guess
