Anyway, you should find out easily what games are we playing, just read ahead.
Also, the forum is OOC except from the parts where it's clearly stated. wink

I'm a big fan of RTS and Civ series as well, so I'm in cool
There was some kind of addon in WarCraft 3, where you could only play with your hero, but I guess WC3 is not good enough for you smile
So, if I have time, I would love to join in.

Deportation. Australia.

Wow... that moved me! I really like this, though I'm not really sure how was things back then, but I'm sure they had different "colonies" for convicts and later for goldhunters. Start with the arrival of the First Fleet, and making a little colony with convicts, and other stuff slowly discovering the surroundings. Magic would be possible in different ways, one is the idea mentioned before (alternate history, magic instead of navigation tools) or in the shape of aboriginals. Storyline could be the confrontation of the 2 civilization, war or peace, borders or cooperation and politics-scheming stuff... tongue
Really, I already see the little seashore settlement with wooden plank walls... hmmm... smile

Heya,
As soon as I get the game I want to help you making our little world. I'm not too up to date in RPG standards (or whatnot, I mean FR, E.. , and others), but I can read, just point my eyes in the right direction smile
Just a wild idea: We could start with a standards NWN2 world, and slowly changing it to our liking, this way, we can go deeper-and-deeper into the levels of modding, as of now, I guess we don't know what can be or can't be done. hmm Just shout at me if I'm stupid wink

I don't have the game... yet!
But, I just wanted to support Oluf, the patcher makes a complete backup of the game while patching, so you need some space for that smile
I read this elsewhere, something like your NWN folder will be around 11GBs while patching. Hope to get the game soon wink

Hey all!

I think a lot of you know the Google Earth program, now as you might know, you can create placemarks wherever you want, and also, you can share it with your friends. So, I would like to ask those who are interested, to make placemarks to the place where you live, and post a link on the file here. Also there is a Sketching program, where you can model anything (the free version is quite primitive, but you can export it right into the Google Earth), and place it where it really is. You can also post it as a file, so we can even see each others home, if you find the time for a little modelling.

So, that said, here are my 2 placemarks, one is only a little marker to show the exact place, the other is the 3d model:
http://madcowclan.uw.hu/Seed/Dustman.kmz
http://madcowclan.uw.hu/Seed/Dustman_home.kmz

For those who can't figure out what I'm talking about, like using Google Earth, or Google SketchUp or you need a place for the file, and you can't upload it anywhere, be sure to post your question here, I will try to answer them as well as I can (also anyone who can help please do smile

I hope to see lot's of placemarks and models!

p.s.: Also, if someone can post the placemark for the Runestone offices in Aarhus, please do.
