I'll probably take a look at it if that damned Generic Office Supply Company ever returns my laptop to me.
Let us know more when you see some RP!
Groundhogs! EVERYWHERE!
Who knew Wheri's birthday would bring about the groundhog apocalypse!?
Edit: My apologies, this appears to be exclusive to Canada, and was in no way related to Wheri's birthday. It was brought about by Anna Nicole Smith's death. Wiarton Willie is back from the grave and he is [death]PISSED.[/death]
Holy crap, a new message from Ahnion!
Holy crap, a new message from me! (comp is still in the shop.)
Also, feel free to stay the hell away from IRC, I'm going to have enough problems climbing the ladder after two weeks of absence.
Yer all bastards! Unless Ontario miraculously moves up next to Denmark, don't expect to see me. I don't have a grand to shell out on plane tickets dammit!
What the hell was the Amiga?
I don't think anyone has even heard what the status of the Seed IP is in the courts right now. Runestone is probably still in bankruptcy proceedings, so just wait for their meet-up sometime in the next three months, we should have some new info then.
A polar bear in a snowstorm eating cotton candy while a happy cloud floats by!
1. Dead on.
2. Actually I'm referring to just the Godfather. It was the one with the horse's head in the bed.
3. Yeah, bad image quality, but he was 14 at the time so you probably wouldn't have gotten it anyways.
4. Nope, I'm referring to much later in Larry Fish's career where he played Morpheus
'This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.'
The hint I gave should've given that away!
Anyways, Bonus-wise, this is complicated. The producer was Robert Evans, nicknamed the Kid when he took on the role of a matador in The Sun Also Rises. But this was crazy, crazy obscure and something you'd probably only know from reading his autobiography, that or knowing that he voiced himself in a cartoon called Kid Notorious.
Now Esme, post your own image!
Alright, time for a hint.
1. Nicholas Cage is his nephew.
2. The first major film credit involved a bed with a nasty surprise under the covers.
3. My trout is on fire!
4. It means buckle your seatbelt, Dorothy, 'cause Kansas is going bye-bye.
Bonus
Wikipedia doesn't list this person as having the producer credit on the film, but he was involved in a productorial fashion. He's better known as having been the head producer for Paramount Studios at one time, and was responsible for bringing the director in. He is NOT Albert Ruddy, as the Wikipedia article may suggest.
Arch Enemy - Hybrids of Steel
And would someone answer my damned image game thing already.... I guess I should go post a hint.
Alright kiddies, ready for this?
I present:
Now,
1. Who directed this film?
2. Which producer gave the director his first major film credit?
3. Who is the actor?
4. Give the quote of the famous choice he gave later in his career.
BONUS HAPPY FUN TIME!
What is the mentioned producer's nickname?
On which movie's set did he earn this nickname?
Alright, this is The Hunger, a 1983 cult film about vampires and such.
Get some damned taste Miho
The two female leads are Susan Sarandon and Catherine Deneuve. The connection with Top Gun is that they share the same director, Tony Scott.
Crap, this means I have to find something don't I...
I really can't be sure, but is that Jude Law in the background?
Edit: This is probably totally wrong, but why not take a stab at it?
The movie is The Aviator, the two female leads were Cate Blanchett and Kate Beckinsale, and the connection to Top Gun is...
DA PLANEZ
They fly and stuff!
Crappy guess, but I'm not going to beat my brains out over it . And come on, does anyone actually listen to musicians who're turning 60? Whoever he is he should've died from an overdose in the 70's like all the cool musicians did around then.
The only thing that will make me dust off eve is a re-vamped method for training skills. paying for a month of Eve and never once going onto the game just so my skill could train ruined the game for me.
Don't fret about the sharepoint, I actually have it 90% done.
It's just a case of straightening out some colours on it, I think I have to set it back to grey scale and then re-colour it to get it right.
I'm guessing that art stuff would be me huh? I'll try to finish some things up, but Im getting into heavy portfolio work in order to get into school next semester.
Anyways, the tracer goggles in Seed never actually worked, so having different visible EM frequencies would be neat, but the IR glasses are pretty close to that anyways.
Macro Manipulators were also in the concept art but nothing ever really got done with them. Maybe we could have some box-stacking/heavy lifting activities?
Attack of the Show gave this comic a link the other night and it's pretty good, especially for the DnD players.

Enjoy.
And more whiney than Linkin Park
The Island:Come and See/The Landlord's Daughter/You'll Not Feel the Drowning - The Decemberists.
The first two minutes of this are what get me. The Decemberists are pretty good at what they do, but if you're going to download them the Crane Wife album is better than Picaresque. Except for the Mariner's Revenge Song, but that's a weird one to have come on unless you happen to be playing Sid Meier's Pirates.
I either have to grind my brains into dust in SCO (which isn't that bad, the combat is fun, it just takes forever), or look at a horridly toned down MxO that still runs choppy. Dam you MMO developers, can you not just get a game right!
In is a relative term.
I still have the key, but no way of downloading MxO outside of D2D. Any ideas?
F-ing amazing Hatetank, I love your work, it's really creative (outside of the boob spheres, but eh, at least they don't look bad).
